Mentoring - a process in which an experienced employee provides advice to less experienced employees about concerns relating to the job, establishment, and profession.

"Mentors serve in many roles as they interact with the employees assigned to them. First, they are a coach providing specific task and job-related information. Second, they can be a counselor providing ideas about the entire industry and the employee's career. They can also serve as a role model because their behavior probably is judged favorably by the establishment. Finally, they can support the employee when higher-level discussions about job opportunities and possible promotions occur."

I would use mentoring because it would help me gain more knowledge about the industry and get me more job opportunities with the help of a mentor.

Among the benefits that the mentoring program offers, in addition to greater predictability and the likelihood of more assertively overcoming challenges, there are also maturation and professional development, increased confidence (especially in decision-making), strengthening networking and , inevitably, an increase in the productivity of this professional. Basically, it is a process for professionals who seek to achieve their career goals with the support of another (more experienced) professional who can share knowledge that will support this journey. I would definitely use a mentoring program to improve and help my employees to develop new skills. Giving the credit to the mentor, to analyze the professional trajectory, identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and discuss actions that promote self-development and the best use of the potential of each employee.
