Student Discussion Forum #8 A+ This chapter sheds light on the relationship between the environment and business practices. While Chapter 3 (Stakeholders and CSR) pointed out that sustainable business practices were ethical practices, this chapter extends this idea to see sustainable practices as being (beyond ethical) goed for business as well. After going over the required material, respond to the following questions: 1. Think about the idea of stakeholders that we covered in Chapter 3. Can we consider our planet as a 'stakeholder? Why or why not? 2. How can sustainability result in a competitive advantage for businesses?
