Tell us: How did your first week go?

This week you have a draft description assignment. In the sample description reading, "A Friendly Clown," note how the writer tells the reader the topic of the paragraph in the very first sentence, then describes the clown's details from top to bottom. This helps to organize the details both for the writer and for the reader.
