The scanner class is a beneficial built$-$in class provided by Java. It is used to receive input from the user$/$console$.$ A scenario in which you would use a scanner would be to prompt the user to enter their username and a password to log in$.$ Applications that utilize scanners are primarily for customers$/$guests to access their accounts, so they're often applications hosted by companies and businesses.The character class is another useful class that comes built$-$in to Java. The character class is used to wrap character data values and serves as a section for character$-$oriented actions. You would use a character class when you have a set of parameters for characters that match up with an input string. I feel that people are opposed to video games such as Grand Theft Auto and Stubbs the Zombie because of their violent nature. I am not opposed to playing such video games, as I have played both of these franchises, but I do not fault others who feel differently about them. I would leave them with their current age rating of M $(17+)$ due to the variety of inappropriate themes found within these video game franchises.
