Background:

Littering/ Dumping of waste have become an in undesignated topical issue in Chitungwiza. Almost all open spaces have become an eyesore due to vast amounts of litter dumped & strewn all over by residents. This has polluted the land and has provided a breeding ground for diseases which put the lives of residents at stake. This has prompted an investigation into the causes and effects of littering with the aim of mitigating such.

Part A

1. Define littering (2)
2. Identify 2 data collection tools & use them to collection Information on the causes and effects, solutions to littering (2)
3. Outline the causes & effects of littering (8)
4. Propose possible solutions to mitigate littering to manage waste (5).

Part B

• Design a poster on waste management which clearly shows how littering can be curbed (8)
• Give Evidence of research (5)
