(a) Construct a calibration curve (from plotting the resulting Absorbance at 600 nm vs. Concentration) from the spectra of the four working standards (please skip the value of the negative control sample). Display the line equation and correlation coefficient. (b) Use the calibration curve to calculate the concentration of Ca2+ in your unknown. Remember to use the dilution factor (all your dilutions multiplied together) when calculating the concentration of calcium ion in your original, undiluted unknown solution(s). Your urine samples was diluted TEN TIMES. Note: In part 1a, you can also choose to plot the absorbance at 650 nm. However, only one calibration curve is required. 2. Calculate the mean ppm Ca2+, standard deviation, and % relative standard deviation (RSD) of duplicate measurements for your unknown. Report these in your RESULTS with the unknown number. Show your calculations and result in the post-lab submission. 3. Is the [Ca2+] in your unknown normal or high?
