I went to buy some hair products at the local beauty supply store near my house. The usual leave in conditoner which i would get at walmart or target was $$5$ more at this shop. so i bargained with the shop owner and looked up the price on my phone so he can give me a discount.

the experience on bargaining included negotiating. i was courteous and explained to the shop owner i came here because its closer to my house and would like to come again because i go through these products rather fast but the price is too high where these big cooperations have them cheaper. I explained i would refer my friends to also come here since its closer to home. so he will have more business but he needs to work with the price since its a popular product for us$.$

I used the intergrative strategy.

Integrative negotiation because it builds long$-$term relationships and facilitates working together in the future after i mentioned i live nearby and will be coming in constantly since he offered me a discount hopefully he will have a faith in me that if I need hair products I will definitely visit his shop because he offered a discount although after ensuring i would be returning he will still make a profit because i will be buying this constantly so I am satisfied and I will definitely visit his shop again. It allows each negotiator to leave the bargaining table feeling they have achieved a victory.
