A former student has authored the verbatim posting below. Read it carefully and choose which of the options below best describes

One of the most memorable negotiation I went through was when I was in the process of purchasing my first house. The House was
sitting on the market for a year and the advice I was receiving was to low ball my initial offer. Because I liked the property a lot I
wanted it to be a respectful opening offer and not look like Im trying to take advantage of the situation. So I presented my offer
lower than the asking price and promised myself that I will not pay more than of the Asking price. My target was to
discount to Asking. The seller countered with a discount, which was right at my resistance point. I knew there was more
negotiation room so I countered back with a discount to the asking price. The Seller agreed!
I believe I was applying some of the basics of Distributive Bargaining as it was a onetime deal. I had a resistance point of not to pay
more than of Asking price and a target range and I designed my initial offer to create a positive bargaining range.
