Please write a nice response to this discussion post. Discuss what you know about the topic. (200 words minimum)

This week's work taught me that patient rights are covered by federal laws ,state laws, and hospital policies are put in place in order to protect patients to the full extent. An example of this protection can include prohibiting contact from outside sources such as having visitors. After Covid, many policies were put in place to limit patient contact and spread. From a health standpoint, I believe this is a smart and most safe tactic in order to minimize contact and any sickness transfer that may occur that can only deteriorate a patients health more then it may already be. But, as Covid has lessened and become less deathly, I can picture these limitations opening up again. I think it would be very hard to not have had these restrictions put in place when Covid was at its peak. There would be too much confusion on exceptions as there are many sicknesses that can be deemed "serious" or have turned "serious" very quickly. These policies are put in place to protect patients and I agree with the reason to have kept them in place. Now, as things are shifting towards normality I believe people can get rapid tests done before visiting or have some sort of clearance so they are able to visit.
