Reflection about the course English comp ll

Consider the following questions/suggestions as you begin the invention process:

• How has your writing process changed this semester?
• Considering your major assignments this semester, which do you consider to be your best work? Your worst? Did the grades you received reflect your conclusions? Explain.
• What three things have you learned that you believe will help you most as you continue to write and research subjects in a college/university environment?
• What topics did you discover that you would like to explore further? Did any of these topics connect with subjects with which you already were interested?

You do not have to answer all of the above questions; they are simply ideas to help you develop a thesis and gather evidence for your essay. You should not attempt to discuss every experience you've had as a writer this semester; you must focus your reflection on a topic that is manageable within the space required. You may choose to follow a traditional five-paragraph format, or you may deviate from that structure. You must, though, have a clearly defined thesis and ample evidence (in this case, personal experiences or observations from your work this semester) to support that thesis.

While this seems like a simple essay to write, do not neglect the importance of proper planning before you begin drafting. (Whether you decide to base this essay's structure on chronological or emphatic order, you should make an informal outline for your own uses.)
