Ethical scenarios
1. Recently, Professor Neuliep had a female international student enrolled in his class. At one of their first meetings, the professor extended his hand to her as a greeting. She refused to shake his hand and said it was against her culture's rules to shake the hand of a male.
What do you think? As a visiting international exchange student, should she have shaken hands with the professor?
2. Recently, Professor Neuliep had several international students enrolled in his class. Oftentimes in his class, the professor distributes handouts to the students.
