After delving deeper, I was able to find out that the customer had been receiving meals with ingredients he did not like. Also, he could not finish his meals in time before the next delivery. I let the customer know that I would hate to see him go and offered to provide a few quick tips before proceeding. I educated him on how he can edit his meals and preferences to exclude foods he dislikes. I also informed the customer that he is able to skip deliveries so that he can have more time to finish them. He was happy to have received the information and decided to continue with the service. Then, I was able help him skip the upcoming delivery and offered a store credit. His interests were met with receiving meals he likes and I was able to prevent the cancel and refund.
