Please design the workflow that illustrates the following loan application process. Please do add a legend and indicate the symbols you are using and their meaning. 1. Start 2. The customer contacts the loan agent. The loan agent prepares a typed application based on the customer input and compares the documentation in the file with the documentation required by the program to ensure it is complete. 3. The loan agent calculates the gross monthly income using the income documents provided. The loan agents must only include the assets he actually have statements for on the typed application. 4. The loan agent submits the file to the lender for underwriting. He includes all of the documentation currently obtained and explain beforehand any unusual situations or circumstances that exist in the file. The loan agent orders any verification such as Verifications of Rent, Verifications of Employment, Verifications of Alimony or Child Support, or credit supplements and sends confirmation to the lender. 5. The lender reviews the file and either approves or denies it. If approved, they may or may not be additional conditions. The loan agent reviews the approval for new items requested and informs the customer for additional details. The loan agent sends those documents to the underwriter. The lender approves or denies the application for a second time if not fully approved initially. 6. Once approved, the loan agent coordinates the closing with the borrower (customer). The loan agent provides all the details to the customer about the approved loan. If denied, the loan agent informs the customer the loan was denied 7. End
